Home sale with TurnTool

In joint venture with the chain of real estate agencies, home, TurnTool ApS has developed a brand new concept, which allows sellers to present their homes in the most favorable light. Danish home-sellers now have the opportunity to show off their homes to potential buyers in real time 3D on the Internet. The visitors even have the option of redecorating the home with new carpets from ege carpets and paint from Dyrup.
Check out the demo here, or on the web site of home (look for "Virtuel Bolig" on the front page).

Packaging the Future with Arla Foods

In close cooperation with Arla Foods and their advertising agency, Brandwise, TurnTool ApS has envisioned the packaging of the future. In addition to being used in Arla Food's own internal presentations, the solution was presented at the "Intelligent & Smart Packaging" conference of January 28th-29th in Miami, Florida. Arla Food's innovative ideas also caught the interest of the media. See the story of the Danish television channel TV2, online (in Danish, requires Real Player).

SP Teknik Robotics Simulation

SP Teknik ApS has chosen TurnTool as a simulation tool for their SMC Open software package. TurnTool ApS is creating a simulation environment for SP Teknik's own development software, where a virtual robot will simulate the movements of a real life robot. This will help as a visual aid when programming a robot controller.

Check out the first robot model and play with its movements here.

SP Teknik is specialized in development and producing controllers for robotics, package installations, and other advanced automatic projects. The company is international minded with assignments in most of Scandinavia and parts of Europe.

Educational Licenses

TurnTool ApS introduces a new educational version of the full TurnToolBox license at a greatly reduced price. Dreamscape, TurnTool's South Korean partner has been a major drive in the invent of this license form and Dreamscape are already successfully marketing TurnTool's educational version. This type of license is open to schools and other educational institutions. Visit the TurnTool ordering section for more details.

TurnTool Introduces New Features:
  • Mipmapped textures will improve rendering quality for detailed textures: Enable the mipmapping feature and TurnTool will generate mipmaps to remove the flickering sometimes seen on detailed textures when scaled.
  • Improved streaming capabilities: Decrease initial download time by streaming the textures after the scene has been started. See an example of this here.
  • Real time antialiasing: Computers with an nvidia graphics card will now be able to get full scene real time antialiasing on TurnTool scenes making them look crystal clear.
  • Texture baking with Max5: Simple lighting has been the standard of real time 3D scenes, until now. Check out this demo.
  • Quaternion size optimization (From 4% to 60%): Using the new TurnToolBox, TNT files are reduced in file size ranging from 4% to 60% depending on number of animated objects in the scene.
  • New scripting features: TNTDoCommand can now return values, new TurnTool events and a host of new functions to change colors, materials, textures and many other things at runtime. Check it all out in the TurnTool manual. Many of the new features can be seen in action in the home demo above and in the pakcept demo.
It is always recommended to update to the newest version of the TurnToolBox (v2.05). This is free, so it's time to hit those upgrade buttons folks.
Update TurnToolBox now. When installing the TurnToolBox, the TurnTool Viewer is updated as well.

The TurnTool features are all fully documented in the
TurnTool Manual .
