Sneak preview of Netscape & Mozilla Support

Users of Netscape and Mozilla need not be deprived of interactive 3D awe for much longer. Soon TurnTool will be supported on both of these platforms. Users of these browsers are already able to download and install a pre-release version: http://www.turntool.com/download

TurnTool v.2.10 Introduces New Features:
  • Save screen dump using the "Renderer.SaveImage('C:\ScreenShot.bmp')" script function. It is now possible to save the current view (antialiased) as an image file on your hard disk. See the feature in action in this example: http://www.turntool.com/tnt/ceres/
  • Save lighting calculations to improve rendering speed using the "SceneGraph.Objects(*).SetColorStatic()" function. In scenes with static lighting where light sources or lit objects doesn't move, lighting can be calculated once and for all as opposed to for every frame. This can gain that last performance you need in larger architectural scenes.
It is always recommended to update to the newest version of the TurnToolBox (v2.10). This is free, so it's time to hit those upgrade buttons folks.
Update TurnToolBox now. When installing the TurnToolBox, the TurnTool Viewer is updated as well. If you wish to update the Viewer only, download it here: ViewerInstall.exe.

The TurnTool features are all fully documented in the
TurnTool Manual.
